Brawl Anyone?

So, anyone keep playing Brawl...? I switched my main to Ike and my secondary to Captain Falcon... yes Chris, Captain Falcon is truly a man. But Ike, damn that broadsword has a good punch to it. Anyways, I've been learning new tricks and have been getting pretty damn good, everyone here is a god at this game. I win about 50 50 against these people, so we are all learning new styles of fighting really quick... anyone else been keeping up with the game? Or am I gonna own you guys miserably next year?

Oh, and to Matt, a friend of mine, John Warren, plays Lucario sometimes... and let me say, there are a shit ton of combos that make that guy brutal... I was really suprised.

Oh, I've been playing some Melee with my sis, and I have to say, Sheik is the most OVERPOWERED thing i have ever seen.

lol, too bad she isn't as good in Brawl or Elisabeth would own!

Yeah... I finally began to master the 40% grab in Melee... basically you grab throw down and grab with the z button instantly afterwards, causing Sheik to grab again... rinse and repeat... at around 40% damage (depends on weight of character) you have to do something else. Otherwise its a move that can't be stopped and brings the opponent from 0 to 40 damage in a humiliating and slow process.

Um, wow that sounds like it would be a lot of fun to try and play against. What is the point of even trying?

The point of playing? Cause if you watch a video of good players vs good players, thats how they roll. Usually one of them is juggled around and slaughtered instantly, then he respawns and does it to the other player. It is really cool to watch. Its a challenge to master all the moves and learn what can get you out of what and what is the best combo to use when characters are positioned in certain ways. When should you leap off the stage after a character is knocked off so that you, by risking a life, can ensure that the lose one? Thats why its cool.

Ok, I will stick to other tactical games instead.
